Job Posting Title: Sr, Press Operator

3rd Shift Schedule, Monday to Friday, 7:30PM – 6AM

What does a Press Operator do at Fiserv?

Fiserv is your single source provider for plastic manufacturing, personalization, fulfillment, and packaging services. We ensure the highest printing quality, exceptional service, timely delivery, and capacity to meet the needs of any size issuer, from small runs to quantities in the millions.

As a Fiserv Senior Press Operator, you will operate a Komori Lithrone 8-color offset press. Our printing presses are used to produce high quality 4-color plus Pantone secured cards. You will be responsible for the set up and operation of the printing press, perform quality checks, confirm quantity produced, and ensure the batch is correct per the job ticket.

What you will do:

  • Set up, operate, and tend to machines used in the process of personalizing credit cards and prepare them to be mailed.
  • Working with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, security, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in the team cross-training including learning different machines and equipment.
  • Examine job ticket to determine quality to be printed, stock specification, and color instructions.
  • Feed raw material into semi-automated machines, along with color fill and replenishing ink fountains.
  • As necessary, inspect, align, and maintain print rolls to achieve proper ink applications, quality check.

What you will need to have:

  • Basic computer skills (data entry, PC navigation) and uses hands to handle, finger, or feel objects and to perform keyboarding functions.
  • Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
  • Ability to stand 95% of your shift and lift between 20 to 50 pounds.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Press Operator in a printing environment.
  • Successful performance requires good vision including close vision for accurate attention to details.
  • Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays.

What would be great to have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a fast paced, high volume production environment and understanding of production concepts.
  • A team player that works well with others but can also work independently.
