We are seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join our Operations CSA team in our Charlotte, NC office.

This individual would perform full policy lifecycle reviews for Insurance segments, validating process and quality, identifying areas of improvement, all the while utilizing proprietary tools to generate and report results. This individual would also support CSA Analysts, level setting daily expectations, troubleshooting challenges, offering real time feedback, while supporting the greater Ops organization when and where applicable.

Main areas of responsibility:

• Through the Control Self-Assessment “CSA” process, validate that current operations process and procedures align with greater organizational objectives, identifying improvement opportunities in people, process, and technology
• Compiles operational data utilizing various sources and tools (Canned Reports, Ad hoc Reports, Submission CSA Model, CSA Model, Cognos, etc.)
• Analyses operational data for reporting purposes, identifying missing data elements, investigating data quality issues, and reporting back via formal feedback channels in a timely manner
• UAT testing of new system functionalities directly impacting submission processing, policy lifecycle stages, and premium reconciliation
• Participate in operational data analytics initiatives, working with team and leadership to allow for continuous monitoring, feedback of data process and the measuring and reporting of results
• Work collaboratively and develop strong relationships with business units and operational areas to further develop the organizations appreciation for a strong internal control environment, preparing clear and concise reports when doing so
• Identify, recommend, and assist in the implementation of process and technology enhancements to further improve the quality and efficiency

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Insurance experience
• Experience working closely with a wide variety of Insurance functions (actuarial, finance, IT, Underwriting, Claims, Ops)
• Strong understanding of Insurance and Risk Management, as well as how Quality Assurance plays an interconnected role
• Demonstrated evidence of being a change advocate and continuous improvement curator, as well as detail oriented
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to support others, utilizing strong interpersonal skills, relationship building skills and a results-driven demeanor, as well as being an effective collaborator by nature
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Advanced knowledge of presentation tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.)
• Team player, motivator

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• CPCU and/or pursuit of ongoing educational designations related to the Insurance Industry preferred
