See Yourself as a Sr. Marketing Specialist

The Sr. Marketing Specialist will ensure the strategic alignment between the organization's goals and the development of marketing campaigns to meet those objectives through sound strategic planning, development and execution. In addition, the Sr. Marketing Specialist will collaborate with content authors to ensure delivery of compelling marketing assets. In addition, this role will:

  • Lead and execute campaign and content strategies for identified customer segment(s) including conducting in-flight analytics and adjusting course as required.

  • Work with cross-functional peers to develop demand generation campaigns.

  • Own the customer journey for identified customer segment(s) that ensures the highest ROI from marketing spend.

  • Work in partnership with marketing, sales, training, and other teams as well as agencies to develop, execute, and manage an integrated marketing campaign and content development for identified customer segment(s), production, and execution.

  • Help develop thoughtful and effective annual marketing budget and negotiate contracts with advertising partners. Manage PO numbers, invoices against the budget and report any inconsistencies and variances in a timely manner.

  • Manage communication strategy and execution for identified customer segment(s). Identify and manage testing and measurement strategies that ensure continual improvement of campaign efficacy.

  • Manage content marketing strategy including presenting new content topics, developing content and working with freelance copywriters, managing calendar, executing content through various channels, and communicating with sales and customer care.

  • Manage premium items and sales collateral to keep existing collateral current, work with sales, product management, legal and other departments to identify and develop new collateral.

  • Day-to-day point person for agency partner management.

  • Incorporate metrics into all campaigns to effectively track and measure results of integrated marketing campaigns, including but not limited to engagement, conversion, and revenue.

  • Lead and manage cross-functional relationships and meetings to ensure seamless execution of marketing and sales strategies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

Education and Prior Work-Related Experience:

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience

  • Work Experience: 6 or more years of prior work experience

Additional Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in B2B marketing with a focus in mortgage lending, financial services, fintech, banking, real estate services, or SaaS.

  • Fundamental knowledge of digital marketing, content strategy and integrated marketing campaign development and management. Fundamental understanding of demand generation and the role of marketing automation in lead generation and conversion. Knowledgeable about social media channels and capable of leveraging them for content promotion.

  • Autonomous, proactive work management style

  • Strong communication skills

  • External agency management

  • Collaboration and discovery with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Content marketing

  • Content development including proofreading and style editing.

  • Account-Based Marketing fundamentals.
