What you'll do...
If you’re currently working in an advertising agency as an account director, this job is for you. H&R Block is hiring for a senior creative manger to help lead the development of advertising created both in house and with agency partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Involvement in the creative strategy and development of advertising related to H&R Block’s consumer tax line of business
- Lead internal creative teams and work with advertising agency partners to complete outsourced work
- Manage the creative development of TV and OLV, radio, display, paid and organic social, local marketing, in-office assets, direct mail and more
- Ensure creative direction is shared across channels to ensure consistency
- Act as a liaison between the media and creative teams, and serve as primary creative representative for cross-functional teams
- Brief creative teams on upcoming needs
- Work with legal to identify claims to competitively market H&R Block
- Maintain a good understanding of category and advertising landscapes
Required Skills:
- Strategic thinking and creative problem solving
- Understanding of marketing principles
- Highly creative and imaginative with ability to motivate and lead a team in the production of innovative, effective and original advertising
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team
- Knowledge of various marketing channels, including video, radio, print, social media and interactive
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 7 – 10 years’ experience leading creative development and working with creative teams
- Agency experience preferred
- Experience working on national brands and multi-channel campaigns, specifically delivering innovative solutions, original ideas and effective advertising
What you'll bring to the team...
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience.
- 5 years Minimum related work experience
