We are searching for a Sr Manufacturing Test Engineer - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. This position, you will support manufacturing test and project management activities associated specifically with Landis+Gyr account activities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Working closely with the New Product Initiative (NPI) Team to develop manufacturing test capabilities of new products.
• Support Contract Manufacturers to ensure tests are performed in accordance with Landis+Gyr manufacturing test specifications.
• Troubleshoot and address production test-related issues.
• Continually improve the existing test software and hardware with emphasis on flexibility and standardization in mind
• Support Supply Chain in evaluating potential low-cost contract manufacturers' test capabilities.
• Streamline Manufacturing Test Development Process for internal and contract manufacturers.
• Use Landis+Gyr eTAMS (Test Equipment Database) to upload testers, test fixtures, and peripheral equipment.
• Perform statistical analysis to ensure test equipment is performing to Landis+Gyr quality requirements (e.g., Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility, Cpk, Ppk, etc.).
• Supports and adheres to Company’s core values.
• Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.
• Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.
• Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers.

Skills & Requirements

• Required bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical degree.
• Required 5-7 years with minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing test environment.
• Experience with high level programming languages such as National Instruments TestStand, Labview & Labwindows CVI, Visual Basic, Microsoft C++, and Database programming.
• Familiar with testing RF hardware devices and RF test equipment.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of software development life cycle, system and integration testing, development of test plans, testing processes and techniques, manual and automated testing.
• Knowledge of NI TestStand, LabVIEW, Python, and Visual Basic
• Familiar with testing RF (radio frequency) hardware devices and RF test equipment
• In-depth knowledge and experience of software development life cycle, system and integration testing, development of test plans, testing processes and techniques, manual and automated testing
• Must have strong troubleshooting skills in test systems
• Knowledge of database application SQL or MS Access
• Team player with ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Self-motivated and result-oriented with technical aptitude
• Strong project management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
