We are seeking a Sr Information Technology Engineer - Delmia.


This role will be located at any of the following Aerojet Rocketdyne locations:


Huntsville, AL

Los Angeles, CA

West Palm Beach, FL

Redmond, WA (Seattle area)

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):

65%

  • Strong experience of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Dassault Delmia Suite applications - Digital Operations/Velocity/Apriso and Digital Manufacturing
  • Strong experience of Manufacturing Execution Systems Applications configuration, installations, troubleshooting applications issue, and end user support.
  • Strong customer interface skills with Center Of Excellence customers, AR IT Application support, and AR leadership required.
  • Ability to drive Information Technology project to closer across multiple business unit contacts
  • Demonstrate the ability to customize and configure MES applications to support manufacturing operations.
  • Troubleshooting / Researching /Resolving MES Applications and User Reported Technical Issues or Processing discrepancies
  • Working experience of Oracle Database Structures, Record definition, and SQL Command Language to facilitate research or reporting of MES Data, as required by special projects, interfaces, evaluation, etc.
  • Experience in Support of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. i.e. Development, Test, Qualification, & Production process

  • Skill to define User Role / Capabilities Definitions
  • Application Process Flow Definition and Buildout
  • Facilitation/ participation with Full System Functional Verification in support of System Upgrades and or the Upgrade of associated (Linked) environments i.e. Oracle EBS
  • Provide Enterprise MES health with state of the business reporting and project status

  • Requirements Capture and Definition in support of Proposed System Enhancements, Reports, Interfaces, etc.
  • Preparation of System Enhancement Requests
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and provide training
Requirements:

BS in Manufacturing Engineering/Computer Science and five (5) years of experience with Application support of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or work experience equivalent.

  • Personal skills continuously utilized to execute responsibilities:
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and provide training

Excellent verbal and written communication, including public speaking.


General Knowledge of typical Shop Floor Processes which support ME’s, QE’s, Quality Inspectors, Machine Operators, Assembly Technicians, NC Operators, etc.


Conceptual understanding of Shop Floor Management including: Work in Process, Shop Order Scheduling, Configuration Control, Quality Management, Non-Conformance Process, Material Flow and Inventory Management, Shop Floor Documentation Management.

  • Team skills – develop relationships across value stream and enabling department resources to effectively manage product value stream.
  • Candidate must be able to thrive in a team environment, work independently, and embrace continuous improvement.


Desired Qualification: Experience with the following:


  • MES processing Experience
  • EBS
  • Interpret and evaluate data and processes
  • SPC basics
  • Web Programming basics
  • Communication protocols to Shop floor Manufacturing Machines (CNC)
  • Documentation and Command Media development, maintenance and Training
  • Train and mentor less experienced
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills
U.S. Citizenship required. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement. Additionally, individual must be able to obtain and maintain NASA Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) security clearance.


Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
