React is probably the most important skill as the emphasis is more on the UI side and the service development is ASP.NET Core (C#).

One of a few developers on a small agile team building out a new SaaS application MVP in the Emerging Technology group of Vertex. Customer facing regulatory planning application (sustainability) utilizing the same cloud foundational services used by current in market products.
The Emerging Technology group has converted a successful customer demonstration application into the commercial technologies used for our SaaS applications.
Now it is time to build out more of the feature backlog as we expand customer appeal.

The cloud deployment environment is EKS on AWS utilizing PostgreSQL for the database layer. Deployments are automated with Argo and terraform.

React UI developed with the next.js framework using TypeScript.
REST API backend developed in ASP.NET Core (C#)

Vertex is a remote first organization established before covid-19 and is currently operating remote only.

Our working environment is based on github, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience
• Six (6) plus years of experience in SaaS cloud application development
• Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to $45.00 per hour
