Hostess Brands, LLC, is a large, packaged foods company focused on manufacturing, distributing, and selling iconic sweet baked goods in the United States such as Twinkies, Cupcakes, Ding Dongs, Ho Hos, Donettes and Coffee Cakes, in addition to Voortman Cookies and Wafers.

• Build, develop and lead the brand and commercial finance team for total P&L management, S&OP integrated financial planning, strategic and annual planning, commercialization of innovations, and marketing support
• Key business partner to Brand General Managers ($1.0+ billion P&L owners)
• Drive and maintain Net Revenue and profitability goals for categories, brands, and channels ensuring categories and brands support overall Company goals
• Manage $50+ million advertising and marketing budget driving ROI, display and merchandising activities in line with brand and category growth drivers
• Develop and maintain innovation P&Ls and related capex approvals
• Work directly with brand general managers and build a cross functional operating cadence with FP&A and commercial finance that supports the full brand strategy on all key business decisions requiring financial insights (customer business plans, pricing strategy, LTOs, innovation support)
• Collaborate with brand general managers and the Revenue Growth Management team to develop actionable insights that intersect our pricing and revenue strategies with consumer trends, competitive set, and overall pricing position in the marketplace
• Develop leading practices on driving margin insights (revenue through costs) consistently across the entire company consumer brands portfolio
• Drive cost discipline and processes on all Advertising & Marketing spend, partnering with Brand general managers on all forecasts/budgets, trends, ROI calcs and invoice reconciliations for full forecasting and general ledger accuracy
• Advance the financial acumen of the broader commercial organization

• 10 years of combined experience in commercial finance and accounting roles
• Demonstrated P&L management and margin insights
• Demonstrated experience building commercial finance capabilities and teams in a consumer-packaged goods company
• Finance leadership with expanding spans and layers of accountability and responsibility
• Robust experience as an effective Finance leader with a distributed team
• Demonstrated ability to delegate for development, while still being able to perform advanced analytics when needed.

• Proven finance leadership experience within the CPG industry (preferred)
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable solutions
• Effective communication, organization, and people skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and business partners
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines in a fast-paced organization.
• Advanced modeling: experience with incorporating complex spreadsheets and large data sets into system-driven reporting and analytics
• Self-directed individual who collaborates well with teams functionally and cross-functionally
• Detail-oriented focus to ensure accuracy
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite of products
• Travel up to 20% on an annual basis

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
• Experience in Lean Six Sigma or similar credentials preferred
