Job description
Overview:
Perficient is excited to offer a career opportunity for a Senior Content Strategist, working remotely from any location in the continental US (with the ability to work within EST or CST business hours). As a Senior Content Strategist, you will join Perficient's Digital Marketing group, reporting to the Content Practice Director. You will serve as lead consultant on enterprise client accounts, driving project teams toward successful content strategy delivery. You will advise clients and execute deliverables across diverse digital content subdisciplines including journey orchestration (personalization and omnichannel messaging programs), website architecture, organic SEO, and site migration.

The ideal candidate will blend strong client management skills with content strategy expertise, rooted in a sound understanding of overall client objectives, target audiences, and competitive market dynamics. A cultural fit on this team requires an agile intellect, willingness to stretch, fast-paced creativity, and a passion for all things content marketing. Please note: this is not a content design or content writing position.

Application requirement — you will be asked to submit three of the following strategy presentation work samples:
  • Personalization, full-journey messaging, and/or globalization
  • Website/intranet taxonomy, information architecture, and/or content models
  • Organic SEO analysis/recommendation
  • Content audit, plan, and/or roadmap
Kindly do NOT share copy/UX writing samples.
Responsibilities:
  • Leading or co-leading client engagements that integrate work streams such as: personalization, globalization, and full-journey messaging strategy; content audit, strategy, development, and governance; information architecture (IA), card sorting/tree testing, taxonomy, and content modeling; keyword research, link building, and content optimization for SEO and UX; as well as migration planning, URL mapping, and content authoring.
  • Developing content strategies in collaboration with the client, other internal stakeholders, and lines of business on program execution. In doing so, you will act as trusted adviser on content efforts, leveraging insights about business challenges and opportunities as inputs.
  • Delivering content programs and projects on time and on budget. Critical to this position is your ability to analyze project requirements, organize and prioritize tasks, identify risks early, and manage the content program process efficiently.
  • Providing direction and oversight to junior staff and multidisciplinary team members supporting content program execution, and guiding their efforts through the entire project lifecycle.
  • Recommending new initiatives that drive future client growth and providing an experience that culminates in innovative, results-oriented work product.
