• Develop or prototype software modules at various levels of complexity, including but not limited to service interfaces, process flows, service messages, SOA components, business logic, UI/UX, or data access logic.
• Follow established processes and strategies for Application Development.
• Create conceptual and detailed technical design documents.
• Identify and analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design and estimate efforts to achieve business requirements.
• Design and develop, test, and deploy software solutions complying with organization release guidelines.
• Develop, execute, and evaluate unit/integration tests.
• Work with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams ensuring high quality deliverables meeting business requirements and standards.
• Work on parallel tracks – Production Support (Sustain) and Projects (New business requirements).

• 5+ years of experience in Web Application development with good understanding the software development process.
• Subject matter expertise in SAPUI5 and ABAP is required.
• In addition to SAPUI5, proficiency in other front-end technologies such as Webdynpro, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. And development experience in SAP-MDG.
• Hands-on experience in building Web Applications using one of the IDEs such as Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio, SAP Business Application Studio or SAP Web IDE and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience in RESTful API development and Microservices framework and ability to write high-performance and reusable code.
• Good to have knowledge in Cloud Foundry environments, Multi-Target Applications, Python and Lambda functions.
• Good understanding of one of the Cloud platforms (preferably SAP) and hyper-scaler environments.
• Experience in working Agile Development models.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, troubleshooting and debugging skills in Web Applications (SAP-Fiori, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS Applications with integrated Data Models).
• Build and use OData Models in SAP/SAPUI5 applications. Knowledge in SAP-UIBB would be an advantage.
• Must be a team player with strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Field of study in Information Technology/Computer Science.

The estimated base salary range for the Sr Application Developer - SAPUI5/ABAP role based in the United States of America is: $94,600 - $141,800. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
