What you'll do:

  • Communicate real time trade information from CBOE's SPX pit to Optiver's in house trading floor in Amsterdam
  • Report on Optiver Floor Trader's decisions and execution
  • Analyze and assign importance to floor information cue in order to best enhance Optiver's trading decisions
  • Act as facilitator and intermediary between in house Trading Team and exchange based Floor Traders
  • Coordinate information flow amongst Optiver's Floor Trading Team
  • Maintain and update S&P Trading Team's visualizations and graphics enhancements.
  • Build skills and trading acumen as a Floor Trader Trainee
  • Track trading strategies and report on profit and loss results

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • A high aptitude with mathematics
  • A working knowledge of financial instruments, trading exchanges and markets
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Lightning quick decision making abilities
  • Programming experience in Python or VBA is preferred
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment authorization for this job opening
