Inspire youth to love being active for a week!!

We are looking for energetic coaches in our Walnut Creek camp location. We are staffing our Spring Break camps running April 4-7, Monday through Friday. Your schedule will typically follow an 8-hour work shift from 8:15 am to 4:15 pm with a half-hour scheduled lunch break.

At GrowFit, we invest in our employees. We have a comprehensive training program, customer service training, step-by-step camp plans, group management support, and all of the tools you will need to be a successful coach.

We provide kids 4-12 years old with an exceptional sports camp experience. After training and with support, you will lead a group of kids through fun activities, games, and sports throughout the day facilitating play, joining in on matches, and accommodating kids who need a bit of extra encouragement. Our goal for everyone is to just have fun!

Requirements

• Must have experience coaching youth sports
• Must be a skilled leader with an inclusive leadership style
• Must have exceptional verbal communication skills
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Must be a team player

Job duties

• Ensure that every child has a positive experience by getting to know each child individually and catering to their needs.
• Coaches will follow the camp schedule. Each coach will be assigned a group of 15-20 campers each day of camp. Coaches are responsible for their group all day.
• Ensure that families have a positive experience by checking in with parents and assisting children who may be hesitant to participate.
• Work with the site manager on group management and engagement.
• Practice punctuality, respect for deadlines, collaborative problem solving, and honest communication.
• Build trusting relationships by acting with integrity, courtesy, and responsibility, even in the face of stress or demanding workplace conditions.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $750.00 per week
