• Shift: 8hr Day Shift (40); Start Time 8 AM to End Time 4 PM; Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend, 8a-12p Saturday and Sunday
• Floating requirements: hospital and outpatient
• Experience: 2 years
• Unit: OUTPATIENT REHAB – SPORTS HEALTH & MOBILITY CENTER
• Patient Types: Adult - dysphagia, stroke, neuro, cognitive, dysarthria, apraxia, Parkinson’s; Pediatric, approx. 50% of the cases (experience preferred)—developmental delay, sensory issues; 8-9 patients daily, 45 min. initial eval
• Charting System: Epic (required)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1

Job Description:

• Evaluates and executes appropriate treatment for patients within spectrum of care with emphasis on quality of care, continuity of services, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provides medically prescribed speech and language therapy and establishes a plan of care for patients.
• Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled communication, leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Required Certifications:

• BLS, CCC-SLP
• Covid card required

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $48.00 - $52.00 per hour
