All applicants must have a level two background screening with AHCA or must be able to pass one. Applicants must also have an active Florida license and be willing to undergo drug testing.
Job Description Summary
Provides and coordinates home health care services to ensure quality and safe therapy care services that reflect the Agency's philosophy and standards of care.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Provides therapy in accordance with the written plan of treatment signed by the physician and all
- subsequent orders that authorize and direct changes. Plans and schedules therapy visits.
- Prepare engaging exercises and activities to use during speech sessions with patients.
- Communicates with Administrator each day to confirm the schedule for the day, changes and/or remains
- easily accessible via text/call for relaying of schedule changes.
- Provides notes as required by the Agency to maintain accurate and complete medical records. Attends all
- staff meetings, care conferences, etc. as required by the Agency.
- Conducts and pursues the business of Agency in accordance with sound medical practices and represents
- Agency in a manner calculated to instill confidence in patients, physicians, and the general public.
- Assists patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
- Counsels the patient and family in meeting therapy and related needs.
