A Day in the Life of a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant / SLPA:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant / SLPA, you provide speech and language therapy services to clinic-based clients in alignment with their goals and treatment plan. You assist, support, and work closely with the SLP, administrators, and other members of the team. You collaborate with the supervising SLP in establishing appropriate therapy goals. It is key that you communicate speech therapy objectives with families and keep information secure and confidential. You enjoy using your speech-language expertise to improve the lives of children!

Experience with pediatric, autistic, and developmentally disabled clients is preferred, but not necessarily required! Are you organized and detail-oriented? Do you have a friendly and positive demeanor? Can you manage your time well and prioritize tasks accordingly? Are you patient? Do you work well as part of a team? Qualifications for a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant / SLPA:

• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Current SLPA license from Arizona Department of Health Services
• One year experience is preferred, but not required
