The Special Projects Coordinator is a critical role that works hand in hand with the Special Projects Managers and supports our shops through office administration, and on-site support to the Rose’s Restaurant Group: Rose’s Luxury, Rose’s at Home, Little Pearl, and Pineapple and Pearls operations.


This is a diverse position that requires a self motivated individual that can manage multiple initiatives, effectively communicate and help shepherd projects from conceptualization to implementation. Their success relies heavily on intrapersonal skills, strong organization and time management skills, and strategic thinking.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Special Projects Support
    • Provide on-site support to FOH/BOH Managers at all shops. Assist with needs (ranging from recurring to urgent) as they arise and be the liaison between the manager and contractors until resolution. Have flexibility to work out of the office or the restaurants themselves.
    • Provide support to Special Projects Managers with all repair and maintenance (R&M) needs within each location.
      • Act as onsite first-responder / handy-person (within scope of knowledge)
      • Assess & determine courses of action for new R&M requests
      • Request quotes from contractors., Distill into a Scope of Work proposal, submit internally for approval, schedule work, act as onsite POC.
      • Ensure contractor payment and accounting paperwork are taken care of in a timely manner.
    • Work with Special Projects Managers, FOH/BOH Managers, and Directors to research, purchase and manage inventory of items RRG wide, including but not limited to: business cards, uniforms, tableware, decorations, lighting and furniture. Handle returns as necessary.
    • Provide logistics support and maintain inventory of bulk purchases both nationally and from overseas.
    • Assist with flower arrangements in restaurants as needed.
    • Perform weekly cleaning / maintenance of velvet uniform jackets, velvet bar stools and curtains in the restaurants. Arrange laundering of uniforms and other fabric decorations as needed.


  • Main Office Admin Support
    • Provide mail and package support for each location. Scan bills / invoices for accountants. Assist with package distribution to recipients.
    • Ensure all restaurant and manager permits / licenses / certifications are in compliance at all times. Apply for renewal, new certifications or arrange for staff training as needed.
    • Assist with meeting scheduling and catering as requested.
    • Purchase and organize office, bathroom and kitchen supplies as needed for main office and conference rooms.
    • Ensure office housekeeping maintains weekly cleaning and restocking schedules. Purchase supplies as needed.


  • Additional Skills
    • Highly effective communicator through email, phone, video, and in person
    • Exude excellence in hospitality for internal staff and external guests and contractors
    • Able to work a variety of days and hours in a fast-paced environment
    • Agile and dexterous. Able to lift up to 40 pounds and work on feet for extended periods of time
    • Strong working knowledge of basic power and hand tools
    • Exceptional strategic planning skills, with an emphasis on developing and executing action plans
    • Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings / product specifications and create visual guides / tools for internal and external use (preferred)
    • Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, Canva and Adobe Suite (preferred)
