South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources, Inc. (SJBHR) is currently seeking an Executive Director to join our Pennsauken New Jersey team.

Under the direction of the CEO, the Executive Director oversees the development of plans to advance the SJBHR’s mission and objectives; and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth of the organization. The Executive Director provides leadership to ensure that SJBHR provides quality services and to position the agency at the forefront of the behavioral health field. In addition, the Executive Director will assume an active role in improving department and program outcomes and overall organizational performance through participation in agency quality improvement activities.

Salary: $135000 / year

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, other behavioral health related specialty, health care administration or business administration from an accredited college or university AND Ten (10) years of behavioral health related experience, five (5) of which should be in a supervisory position;
• Current New Jersey license in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Nursing is desirable

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversees the successful implementation of SJBHR’s vision, mission, values and goals.
• Ensures that programs meet standards required for licensing.
• Responsible for the day to day management of agency operations and staff
• Oversees HR in the recruitment, hiring and termination of key management staff.
• Takes an active role approving and recommending allocation of resources and funds for Board approval.
• Oversees management team to ensure a consistent adherence to regulations and policies as well as adherence to regulations and cost-effective management of resources
• Evaluates the performance of senior leadership for compliance with established policies and objectives and their success in implementing agency plans and goals.
• Ensures overall quality of service delivery.
• Oversees the development of a Quality Improvement Plan to improve agency performance through continuous quality improvement activities.
• Develops, communicates and enforces plans, policies, and operating procedures with emphasis on compliance with external regulatory requirements.
• Reviews activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises plans in accordance with current conditions.
• Plans, develops and implements strategies for generating resources and/or revenues.
• Identifies expansion opportunities and evaluates appropriateness.
• Oversees the establishment of planning and policy-making committees.
• Promotes the agency through appearances at conferences, participation in professional organizations and partnering with other agencies.
• Presents agency reports at the Board of Trustee meetings.
