A dynamic, fast-paced customer-facing supply chain is seeking a Sourcing and Catalog Manager to lead a team that managers all sourcing, customer quoting and part catalog management requirements including the new part insertion and requisition quoting as well as ensures related contractual services levels are met.

Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day requisitioning and part catalog management. Performs functions related to the effective sourcing, pricing, and market availability of customer required parts, materials, and services. Builds and maintain integrated processes among internal functions and outside suppliers. Develops logistics policies and procedures.

HOW A SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Serve as functional team lead and personnel supervisor for a team of 3; directing work, throughput and performance to meet contractual service level agreements and requirements
• Provides guidance and applies knowledge of trusted suppliers for assessments and evaluations to ensure conformance to client's quality, cost and delivery performance standards
• Analyze materials and services requested to provide sourcing and pricing estimates
• Ensure all sourcing activities comply with government regulations (FAR, TAA, NDAA, etc.)
• Lead efforts to maintain customer’s product catalog and related metadata from insertion to obsolescence including market availability, pricing, version control, warranty, and product outlook.
• Serve as customer liaison/point of contact for sourcing new materials and related customer service
• Provide customer focused reports as required
• Provide and follow policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure quality cost control
• Establish and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training plans for team members
• Assist in special projects/procurements as needed by Customer or GDIT leadership

Preferred Skills:

• BA/BS (or equivalent experience) or the equivalent combination of education, professional/military training or work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in material sourcing, product management or similar procurement functions preferably supporting government contracts/customers
• 3+ years as a people supervisor; leading, training, and managing a team
• Candidate must be detail-oriented, some who takes initiative to identify and resolve problems, and is a self-starter who can work with minimal direction.
