Overview:

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Tester to support an IT program at a major national laboratory. Digital Transformation is responsible for software development, installation, maintenance, and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans
- Create test cases
- Writing test automation code
- Reporting test results
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience
- Experience designing and implementing test plans
- Experience working with REST APIs and tools (e.g., Postman)
- Attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and document defects
- Strong knowledge of agile practices and experience with agile planning tools
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaboration skills and ability to work on a team
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Mac and Windows platforms and all major browsers
- US Citizen and 100% on-site
- Must have an active DOE L Clearance Minimum to start or DoD Secret with reciprocity, and ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance
Desired:
- Agile software development experience
- Proficiency in Angular, PHP, JavaScript, .Net
- Experience writing test automation scripts
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, XRay, Qtest, Quality Center)
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Puppeteer, Playwright)
