Our team here at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs is seeking a motivated individual that to Administer, Maintain, and Monitor Missile Defense Systems. Candidates should possess analytical and problem solving skills necessary for quickly responding to real world events and restoring/ maintaining mission capabilities as part of a 24/7 Operations watch

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working as part of a 24/7 Operational Team (Schedule Details Below)
  • Coordinate operational activities in support of Real World Operations
  • Troubleshoot software and OS to restore operational status
  • Technical presentations and analysis reports as required
  • Performance analysis of missile tracking
  • Monitor and maintain system status
  • Ground and Flight Test support
  • Linux System Administration
  • Track/log Real World Events

SCHEDULE DETAILS:

  • Shift differential pay incentive
  • Eligible for paid EWW (x1 pay for hrs worked over 80 hrs per two weeks)
  • Pitman Schedule: 12 hour shifts - 2on/3off – 2on/2off – 3on/2off (84 hours every two weeks)
  • Requires the ability to work every-other weekend, all holidays that fall within your scheduled shift, and rotating between day and night shifts every 4 months.

BASIC QUALS FOR LEVEL 2 OR 3:

  • DoD Top Secret clearance that is or has been active within the last two years and SCI eligibility.
  • Linux experience
  • Python experience
  • Level 2: Bachelor’s degree +2 years of experience or an equivalent 6 years of relevant experience
  • $77,200 - $115,800
  • Level 3: Bachelor’s degree +5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent 9 years of experience
  • Pay Range for Level 3: $95,100 - $142,700

PREFFERED QUALS (not required):

  • Experience with NetApp, RSA, Cisco, and HPE servers
  • Experience in an operational environment
  • Understanding of basic statistics
  • Experience with missile trajectory analysis
  • Familiarity with the Ballistic Missile Defense System
  • Familiarity with Overhead Persistent Infrared
  • Experience in performance analysis, requirements verification, validation, and working with algorithms


Salary Range: $77,200 USD - $115,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $95,100 USD - $142,700 USD


Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
