The Software Development Manager plays a crucial role in the success of the development team. This role will interface between the development team, the product management team, and the business. The Software Development Manager will monitor the progress of various projects and be proactive in identifying potential delays and submitting progress reports to Senior Management. Qualified candidates will be experienced in managing a team of developers, their day-to-day scheduling, and training software developers to follow a well-defined process. This includes development planning, monitoring progress, rectifying and remediating any potential delays in sprints. Qualified candidates will have experience in planning to design, maintain or update software and web applications.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 6 years experience in a Software Development role.
• Recent experience working with Software Developers, System Architects, and Business Analysts.
• Experience managing software projects using - JIRA a plus
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
• Experience working with Microsoft applications.
• Developing applications using C#, .NET, SQL Server, ASP.NET Web Applications. Mobile experience (iOS or Android) a big plus
• Planning software sprints.
• Creating budgets for new projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creating and maintaining a healthy workplace environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
