Social Worker
Flexible Part Time 16-28 hours

About the Company:

Newfield House is a privately owned, high end nursing home providing 24 hour long term care to around 50 residents. We do not take medicare/medicaid, so there is no related paperwork responsibilities. This role is entirely focused on helping the residents and their families, not on documentation.

What our social worker does:

Our social worker role is a dynamic mix of many responsibilities.

• Answers inquiries and give tours for families interested in moving someone to Newfield House.
• Arranges and coordinates the admission of new residents to our care.
• Acts as a point of contact for resident's families to resolve concerns.
• Provides social services to the resident population.
• Participates in Care Planning for each resident.
• Helps to staff and host our many parties and events with residents and families.

• You must possess a Bachelor's or higher in Social Work, or a Bachelor's as well as one year of experience in community health or a social service agency.
