Come join our Social Services Team as a Therapist at Acadia - River Place Behavioral Health! This position will primarily work weekends.

River Place Behavioral Health, a service of Ochsner Health System, provides state-of-the-art psychiatric care for adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns.

As a Therapist at River Place you will participate in the development and implementation of patients' treatment plan by:

Providing and documenting psychotherapy services to patient as scheduled.

Conducting individual, group or family therapy sessions as appropriate for treatment plan of the patient.

Providing initial treatment planning for patient based on assessment and coordinate any additional services needed.

Maintaining documentation of therapy services provided to each patient according to facility and professional standards and revising as indicated by facility or professional standard.

Participating in treatment team meetings and collaborating with other staff to facilitate services for the patient, as appropriate to their treatment plan.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field required.
• One or more years’ experience working with behavioral health patients required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• Requisite licensure for professional therapy providers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
