We're looking for a social media super star who'll build on a fantastic foundation to take our digital channels to the next level.

Working closely with our digital communications function and the wider team, you'll support delivery of internal and external digital communications objectives.

Using your specialist expertise, you will be responsible for planning and delivering accessibile and representative social media activity across our accounts and channels, as well as tracking their effectiveness against key performance indicators.

You will also be involved in a range of communications and marketing activities, including the development of new social channels for a range of audiences.

You'll join an award winning team with plenty of experience in communications: your skills, insight, and experience will be the icing on the cake.
  • Create influential, informative, educational, and engaging multimedia social content and campaigns to support communications and organisational objectives
  • Research, scope, and advocate for, new trends, channels, and other new ways to communicate with our online audiences
  • Develop internal and external online conversations into communities with thriving two-way dialogue
  • Ensure consistency of message across digital channels, including social media, website and intranet, and other online tools.
  • Report on social media activity outcomes, including paid activity, and improve and refine content for future activity
  • Ensure social media and digital assets comply with relevant standards
  • Write attention-grabbing calls to action and accompanying copy for use on social media, web, and in print
  • Source and prepare assets produced by other organisations to support local and national campaigns
  • Manage approval processes for new departmental accounts, and manage the log of departmental accounts
  • Maintain an effective asset library
