Detroit Design House is a one stop shop, boutique creative agency looking to add a Social Media / Accounts Manager to join our team!

Our marketing firm is located in Ferndale MI and has a casual and artistic office vibe.

The candidate will be working closely with a variety of agency clients, as well as our creative team of graphic designers, photographers, and videographers, to devise social media marketing campaigns.

The perfect candidate is cued into the local foodie, lifestyle space, and cannabis industry, fluent in local & pop culture, and an active participant the digital realm. If you’re inspired to push big ideas and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done, we’d love to meet you.

The position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Schedule posts for multiple clients’ accounts daily to Instagram & Facebook
• Communicate with client monthly to set up new marketing initiatives
• Participate in client’s asset planning to ensure that unique content needs / opportunities for social are captured.
• Implement a consistent brand look and feel throughout each clients marketing channels.
• Collaborate with our in-house creative team of graphic designers, Photographers, and videographer, to plan and coordinate post content, and continue gaining knowledge about our clients.
• Oversee work flow between clients, and our creative team.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media.
• Create and publish monthly client email newsletters (only for a few clients)
• Must be comfortable working with and around Cannabis clients

Client Examples:

Detroit area restaurants, bars, cannabis industry, lounges, live entertainment, beauty, Trampoline parks, transportation, local retail, ... the list goes on.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• A proven track record of curating a highly engaged social media community for business.
• A good eye for composition, color theory, and a cohesive & attractive social media layout.
• Desire to be involved in the marketing of many industries including, hospitality, Cannabis, Transportation, Entertainment, Beauty, etc.
• Must be comfortable working with and around Cannabis brands.
• A positive attitude & a cheerful disposition
• Great communication skills both oral and written (No Typos)
• A passion for planning and scheduling social media content unique to each platform to tell our clients brand stories, engage with the communities, and drive growth
• Experience with a project management / workflow program.
• Ability to write killer copy and curate an ever-changing cadence of engaging and inspirational lifestyle images
• Experience with an email marketing platform
• Must be organized and an experienced multi tasker.
• Must be experienced on a Mac

Pay: $48,305.75 - $53,000.00 per year
