We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to create and maintain a strong online presence for the agency's two clients - a lifestyle brand infused in the essence of Brazil along with a skincare brand. The Social Media Manager works directly with the Creative Team to plan, develop and publish content for all social media platforms. This role is responsible for aiding in editorial calendar production, blog posts, influencer outreach, and community management of Instagram & social accounts. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing strategies. Retail, fashion and/or beauty experience is a plus. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist the team with social media strategy, campaigns, and day-to-day activities. Ex. day to day community management-respond to comments and questions
  • Help coordinate and execute content for IG feed, IG reels, IG stories, and partnerships.
  • Manage Pinterest account and sharing pins
  • Coordinate assets for the team + organize content calendar
  • Manage, plan + publish approved, final content to social channels
  • Write creative copy and help to develop blog posts
  • Track and provide reports on social media progress, trends and competition. Use analysis to adjust current campaigns and create new ones
  • Assist with PR efforts and influencer outreach
  • Assist in developing content for website
  • Develop original assets for use on social media with creative team
  • Create segmented emails and oversee email marketing
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions

Qualifications and Skills

  • Highly active on social media as well as passion for experiential + digital marketing
  • Experience in the fashion or influencer industry
  • Strong working knowledge of the competitive landscape. An understanding of different social media platforms and how they can be used to tell a brand story
  • Ability to manage multiple social accounts
  • Affinity for strong caption + copywriting skills
  • Enthusiastic team player with excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Creativity and a strong sense of art direction
  • Understanding of analytics and how to share with the rest of the team
  • Proactive approach to all tasks with an initiative to drive results and solve problems
  • Early adopter eager to discover and implement emerging media

Required experience:

Social Media and/or marketing: 3 years

Experience in content strategy: 1 year

Job Type: Part-time, 15-20 hours a week

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
