Social Media Coordinator (12 months FTC) - Hobbycraft Head Office, BH23 6HG

Salary up to £22,000 depending on experience- Pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores

About the Role

This is a fantastic office-based role and would be the perfect entry level role for someone seeking a career in social media marketing or a skilled administrator seeking a new challenge

This is a new role, and you will join our dynamic social media team who manage all organic content published on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. You’ll work closely with the Social Media Executive, planning, scheduling, writing, and editing content, and report into the PR & social media

This role will be based at our Bournemouth Head Office with occasion weekend/out of hours working required with time given in lieu of any out of hours time worked.

Responsibilities

Planning, writing, and scheduling content on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter

Responding to customer comments and questions on Instagram and TikTok

Supporting with editing videos and graphics together for use on social channels

Working closely with the wider team to help define social media campaigns and channel requirements

Composing briefs for collaborators and influencer activities

About you

A strong administrator, highly organised and excellent multitasker

confident user of Microsoft Office programs and all social media platforms

You are an enthusiastic team player with a love of social media

A confident user of TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

Have a proactive approach to tasks and a can-do attitude

Flawless copywriting prowess

Knowledge of the breaking social media trends, and plugged into pop culture, always looking for fresh ways we can engage our audience in the social sphere

Able to build working relationships quickly, both internally and externally

An interest in craft, making and baking and a passion for the Hobbycraft brand is a must!

It would be an advantage if you had an awareness of social media marketing at a brand level

Familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Splice and similar editing programs (although this is not essential)
