Summary/Objective

The Social Media & Communications Specialist performs the day-to-day functions to support and maintain the social media and communications strategies for the Company.

Position Pay Range (based on experience): $42,700 - $53,400

Essential Functions

1. Write, create, and edit consistent and meaningful social media content, maintaining a content calendar and scheduling posts with tools such as Agorapulse
2. Measure, monitor, and report results/metrics for social media channels using analytic tools for campaigns and individual posts
3. Assist with the development, implementation, and management of the social media marketing strategy
4. Liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure company news, milestones and events are communicated through our external social media channels and internal communication channels
5. Improve and assist with patient engagement by monitoring, responding to, and triaging online patient feedback
6. Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, attentive to detail, and excellent proofreading ability
• Passionate about social media with a thorough working knowledge and understanding of Facebook, Facebook Ads, Instagram, Tik Tok, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc.
• Proactive mindset, excellent planning skills, and ability to repurpose content and juggle multiple social media channels simultaneously
• Self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player
• Awareness and passion for current and future social media trends including enthusiasm for emerging technologies
• Creative and clear communicator, understands and appreciates the importance of great design and marketing, with a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Premiere, Premiere Rush, Adobe Express etc.)
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred, or equivalent education, training and experience.
