Hours/Week: 35 hours a week

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide information to the public and respond to inquiries about the Center's services;
• Conduct the initial Center eligibility screening of participants;
• Conduct an initial assessment of participants to include: gathering information on professional education and professional work experience in country of origin, any further education/work experience in the United States, summary of efforts/approaches in trying to practice profession, current situation, reason for migration and an assessment of motivation, strengths, weaknesses as related to achieving professional goals;
• Develop a Career Pathway Plan for each participant to include any English language skills needed, acculturation to the US health care and other professional employment systems, transcripts/validation of credentials needed for licensing and alternative career paths under consideration;

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree required.

Required Language:

• Bilingual Spanish and English required

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Salary: $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Providence, RI 02908: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
