Acara Solutions is looking for a SMT Operator for our client located in Pinellas Park, FL

Contract to Direct Placement - Pay rate: $15.00 - $18.00/hr

• The SMT Operator I is responsible for equipment set-up, operation and maintenance in support of Printed Circuit Board Assembly processes and procedures. Reports to the Operations Manager
• Set-up, operate and maintain screen printers, glue machine, reflow ovens, SMT placement machines, stencil cleaners, conveyors, and other equipment used in the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards.
• Interface with complex machine hardware and software.
• Identify and report defective components.
• Inspect own work to ensure accuracy and integrity of work performed.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with SMT

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in assembly.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques in manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints or technical instructions.
• Ability to conduct quality control tests and inspections of products to evaluate quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot to determine causes of operating errors and to decide on solution.
• Understanding of ERP systems such as Deltek Costpoint or similar.
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
