Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of sub-acute, long-term care, assisted living residents and outpatients
• Maintain timely and accurate billing and documentation achieving a productivity of 80%
• Provide appropriate resident and/or caregiver education for a safe transition to the next level of care or for a successful home discharge
• Extensive standing and walking.
• Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) approved physical therapy program
• Current, unencumbered license from the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
• At least one year of experience as a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant
• Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a large team of professionals
• Requires lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
• Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Licensed driver with reliable and insured automobile (proof of insurance required)
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
• Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a large team of professionals
