Job description

Josephine Caring Community is hiring for a Skilled Maintenance Worker with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitality, school, healthcare, apartment or similar setting. The schedule for this full-time, day shift position includes rotating days with occasional afterhours emergency call-ins. Core hours are between 7am and 3:30pm. The campus building is nearly 150,000 square feet and busy, so work demand is steady.

Assigned responsibilities include:

• Perform building and equipment repairs & maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks and routine facility rounds.
• Conduct routine tests and inspections on various facility systems.
• Maintain facility fleet including vehicles and lawn equipment.
• Complete general interior and exterior maintenance tasks including plumbing, painting, building of structures and offer recommendations for building improvements.
• Provide facility security services.

A Washington State Driver License in good standing is required. Skills include emphasis on efficiency, attention to detail, ability to work independently and self-motivation.
