The life of a Site Leader is never boring when you serve as the HR liaison for HTI’s contract workforce at our fast-growing client site in Blythewood, SC. The Site Leader is responsible for all aspects of HR from recruiting to offboarding, investigations to counseling, and payroll to invoicing. The responsibilities of this role also fall into cross-selling of HTI services as well as HR consulting as you work with various client contacts at all levels and become part of an engaging HR team.

Essential Job Function:

  • Screen applicants and fill hourly positions based on requirements set by client and HTI.
  • Recruit according to established process flows for staffing based on individual customer requirements.
  • Responsible for all employee relations aspects, i.e., onboarding for new hires, completion of new hire paperwork, counseling, discipline, tracking of attendance, terminations, quality reviews, activities, etc.
  • Maintain required employee file documentation, including but not limited to attendance tracking, counseling forms, quality reviews, etc.
  • Timely response, communication and follow-up on emails received, tasks assigned, projects, etc.
  • Conduct multiple floor walks daily.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and appropriate working relationships with client supervisors, the HR department, the supporting branch, HTI associates, and any additional associates at the site or HTI that is required for administration of the contract.
  • Manage to specific processes for staffing and workforce management based on customer and HTI requirements.
  • Maintain onsite presence to satisfy onsite responsibility to administer and maintain all contractual responsibilities as required, per the contract and as required by HTI.
  • Assist with implementing and driving new processes and process improvements, as identified.
  • Prepare required material, metrics, reports, etc., for meetings at client and/or HTI.
  • Drive the monthly metrics review with HTI and client.
  • Prepare and maintain all required reports for multiple levels at the client site and HTI; determine and coordinate with CIP group on development of additional reporting.
  • Ensure and maintain appropriate confidentiality of employee, client and HTI information, and any shared data.
  • Ability to recognize sales opportunities and communicate those to HTI sales group.
  • Process, verify, and ensure accuracy of payroll/timekeeping data in conjunction with Accounting.
  • Process invoicing timely and per the process. Monitor receivables to ensure timely payment.
  • Coordinate and attend job fairs on behalf of HTI and client, as needed. Launch and monitor corrective actions/continuous improvement initiatives, as appropriate, with the client and the supporting branch.
  • Elevate potential issues and recommended resolution to appropriate contacts/levels when process/metric non-conformances are identified. Understand escalation for these situations.
  • Manage safety programs; make recommendations to Safety Specialist for improvements or when risks are identified; ensure required testing and training is conducted as required.
  • Conduct accident investigations and drive resolution with Safety.
  • Coordinate roundtables; execute ER plans for the site.
  • Independently manage recruiting duties of key accounts designated by management.
  • Screen applicants based on requirements set by client and HTI and fill positions within timeframes established by HTI and individual clients.
  • Complete new hire orientations.
  • Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to enlarge candidate pools.
  • Develop and maintain referral program for clients.
  • Administer selection tools as required.
  • Additional duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and establish priority of work.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand items or activities that require timely follow-up and communication.
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with all levels at the client site, as well as within HTI.
  • Must have strong customer service skills.
  • Travel may be required.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferably BS/BA.
  • Must have prior high volume recruiting experience.
  • Payroll experience and payroll system experience preferred.
  • Experience with MS Word and MS Excel preferred. Must be proficient in use of the Internet.
  • Customer service experience a plus.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • CSP preferred.
  • Human resource experience a plus.
