Corbion’s manufacturing facility in Grandview, Missouri is seeking a growth oriented Site Director to oversee daily operations. In this role, you are the senior leader on site and will be responsible for the functional areas of QA/QC, Supply Chain, Operations/Maintenance, Technology, Engineering and Environmental Health and Safety. This fast-paced role will oversee 90+ employees, fixed cost budget of approx. $16M/yr and variable cost of approx. $80M/yr.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead efforts to maintain accident-free facility. Execute Environmental, Safety, Health and Quality standards to ensure personal and product safety and quality.
• Manage team of 9 direct reports including Production Supervisors, Maintenance Supervisor, QC Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Process/Project Engineers, Admin/HR, and EHS Manager.
• Direct planning, process development and overall manufacturing performance including quantity and quality.
• Manage continuous improvement efforts and pro-actively respond to production problems and solutions.
• Oversee production, quality control, maintenance, shipping/receiving and overall plant operations.
• Develop and execute short term and long term goals and strategies including the operational plan and budget for daily operations, ensuring optimal utilization of production capacities (personnel and equipment).
• Ensure facility compliance for all Corbion, environmental, governmental and OSHA regulations.
• Implement and execute short and long term plans, promoting food safety of our products using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), performance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of progressive management responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating within Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), performance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP).

• Proven success building and leading a team, including interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen with an understanding of financial reporting and budget preparation that include analyzing cost, operations and forecast data to determine departmental or divisional progress toward stated goals.
