Shower Installation Helper, Shower Trainee Roles & Responsibilities: YOU WILL BE TRAINED TO :

• Thoroughly inspect job materials, ensuring the product(s) are the correct size & style, and that there is no obvious product damage or flaws on the product(s) required to complete the job(s)
• Load required job materials to installation vehicle(s), including redundant materials, tools, job folder/paperwork, safety equipment, etc...
• Communicate to the office and customer if we'll be late for a scheduled installation appointment
• Install all products and services included in the work order, troubleshoot, and strive to resolve any installation problems that might occur on-site

Qualifications & Educational Requirements:

• Handy with tools
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Candidates must be physically capable of performing work, in good health, with the ability to lift up to 50-100lbs. unassisted
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Basic knowledge of software, including Microsoft Outlook and Time Traxs
• Ability to learn the required customer service and safety expectations of our company

Preferred Skills:

• Effective troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal/written communications skills
• Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel) preferred
• Hardworking, motivated, with excellent organizational and time-management skills

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SHOWER INSTALLATION HELPER, SHOWER TRAINEE

As an entry-level Trainee on our team, you play an important role in the successful completion of various glass and window jobs. Each day, you help load trucks with the necessary equipment and materials. To keep our trucks and warehouse fully stocked, you request a list of required materials and supplies.

Working in a small team, you support our experienced technicians out in the field. As you assist them, they teach you how to properly install glass. You also help with the disposal of old windows and glass. To maintain a clean environment you sweep, clean, and organize materials. As needed, you help out with tasks in the warehouse and perform other duties as assigned. While communicating with managers, employees, and clients, you speak clearly and effectively. You enjoy advancing in this trainee position and garnering the knowledge needed to work on your own!

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A SHOWER INSTALLATION HELPER, SHOWER TRAINEE

This entry-level position works full-time, Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm with occasional Saturdays.
