We have an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Lead at our facility in Waite Park, MN.
The primary tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Loading and unloading outgoing and incoming shipments.
- Pick and stage orders and loads for shipment.
- Perform physical inventory counts of finished products and ingredients.
- Prepare all outgoing shipment paperwork including bills of lading.
- Inspect lifts and forklifts on a daily basis.
- Perform equipment maintenance as directed.
- Perform special projects as assigned, to include equipment maintenance.
Food Safety Responsibilities
- Ensure that all ingredients appear to be free from contamination.
- Ensure the proper specifications are met with each product.
- Verify that all records are updated on the server and all documents are. complete.
- Follow appropriate procedures for clearing the rail cars that have been fumigated.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or general education degree and 6-12 months related experience
- Strong leadership experience and skills
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
