Job Description: Under direction of the Project Manager or immediate supervisor assigned, provide services loading and stowing subsistence and supplies onboard navy ships located at Naval Station-Mayport. Services include storeroom preparation and stock rotation assistance. Maintain surge capability to support emergent and surge requirements.

What we expect from you:

• Handling and transporting subsistence supplies from the staging area to designated locations aboard the ship.
• Rotate stock as required.
• Remove debris and dispose in designated locations.
• Neatly stack pallets in designated locations.
• Report to assigned place of duty on time, as prescribed by the supervisor.
• Utilize safety equipment hardhat, safety vest, safety glasses, and steel toed shoes in the performance of all assigned work.
• Must pass a Navy background security investigation and maintain the appropriate clearance to remain employed on this project.
• Follow all agency policies and procedures as set forth in the Board of Director's approved personnel handbook.
• Maintain qualifications to operate forklift equipment up to 4,000 pounds.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who is a good fit?

• High school diploma for equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and speak communicate in English.
• Must pass a background check and government screening
• Computer experience is a plus including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, stoop, bend, push, pull and lift 50 pounds.
• Commitment to safety rules.
