We are looking for a Shared Services HR Tools and Process Coordinator (ideally located in lower SE Michigan near one of our facilities in Plymouth, Troy or Lake Orion.) This role will be an integral part of the Oerlikon US Shared Services team and will report directly to the Regional Tools & Process Manager. This position will provide support developing, implementing, and administering HR Shared Services systems, infrastructure, policies, processes and instructions for employees, managers, and HR.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintains, evaluates, troubleshoots and ensures data integrity of HRIS by performing routine audits of HRIS and identifies training opportunities for system users.
  • Supports employees, managers, and HR by troubleshooting system and process related issues.
  • Assists with development and improvement of functional process flows for employee life cycle processes that reflect collaboration steps between across departments (HR, SS, IT, Finance and other internal departments)
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve existing HRIS processes, functionality and workflow, and maximize technological capabilities to reduce manual processes
  • Assists with development and design policy review, approval, implementation, training and acknowledgement process for all stakeholders
  • Take an active part in centralization of HR administration; define administration processes and create efficiencies.
  • Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained.
  • Performing payroll/benefit/HR-related data audits and reconciliations
  • Participate in testing for any upgrades or new system implementations.
  • Participate in audits of the system data to check for inaccuracies or missing information to ensure data integrity.
  • Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, OFCCP reporting, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews.
  • Ensure all HR policies reflect current applicable laws.
  • Maintains accurate digital filing systems for all HR and employee records.
  • Supports administration of employee service awards, tuition reimbursement, employee referral and other Oerlikon employee programs
  • Provides administrative support to the HR function to facilitate the HR administrative processes for all Oerlikon entities.
  • Assists or prepares employee and manager HR communications as requested.
  • Supports ad hoc HR projects and task as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of hands-on HR operations experience in different HR administrative tasks
  • Experience in HRIS maintenance, experience with SAP SuccessFactors preferred
  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office Suite

For individuals assigned, hired to work or working remotely in/out of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, Washington State, or New York City, Oerlikon is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position, which is $64,240 to $88,330 per year. Some positions within Oerlikon may also offer eligibility to participate in a discretionary incentive program. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for the role will be based on a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, internal equity, job location, work experience, education, training, certifications, licenses, etc. Therefore, as compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual, it is likely that not all applicants will be hired at the highest end of the listed compensation range. Our total compensation package goes beyond base compensation and it will include a competitive benefits package starting with 2 weeks paid time off accrued on a monthly basis, 12 holidays, 48 hours personal/sick time (exception for NY where we follow State law,) medical, dental, vision, 401K, holidays, pet insurance and tuition reimbursement all effective day one of hire.

Pay: $27.97 - $33.68 per hour
