Services Support Admin Assistant , Home Based, ARDJM819185

Purpose of the Role

This exciting new remote role has arisen to join our Technology team to support the demands of the wider business, whilst maintaining all best practise standards and processes. You will be ensuring all new joiners have the necessary equipment for their first day, arrange collection of company assets from those leaving the business and in time be responsible for the ordering of assets aside from laptops.


What you will do

This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following and more:

  • Manage the life cycle of requests, prioritising responses and request fulfilment to ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with contractually agreed service levels and performance indicators.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, accurate communication with timely updates as required to all business users with IT requests.
  • Build positive client relationships through exceptional service, tenacity, and the willingness to do the right thing.
  • Take responsibility for and co-ordinate escalated tickets with other team members.
  • Interact with Service Desk for the assignment, receipt, logging, validation, tracking and resolution of relevant service requests.
  • Manage the life cycle of requests, prioritising responses and request fulfilment to ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with contractually agreed service levels and performance indicators.
  • Identify situations requiring urgent attention and escalate via appropriate channels.


Who we are looking for

This is an opportunity for an organised individual who can work as part of a team as well as use their own initiative. We are looking for someone has:

  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills using logical steps, ideally from working in a secure environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Willingness to work out of hours occasionally.


Ideally, you will need knowledge and experience of:

  • Knowledge of ServiceNow.
  • A knowledge and understanding of ITIL functions, principles, and processes.
  • Knowledge of SNOW asset Management tool.

But these are not essential and can be taught.


This is a great opportunity for a self-disciplined, proactive individual with strong interpersonal skills, who can work independently but also as part of a team. You will need to have excellent attention to detail, problem solving skills and a logical mindset.
