Job description

Busy and fast growing Heavy Duty truck dealer needs a Customer Service Writer for it's Service Department. Auto and/or truck knowledge is required.

Service Writer/Advisor Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year experience as a service writer
• Monday-Friday 6am-3pm and one Saturday a month.

Candidate will be responsible for many aspects of the Service Dept process, such as:

• Communicating and interacting with customers on an ongoing basis.
• Opening and closing repair orders.
• Interacting with shop foreman for updates on open jobs.
• Inspect vehicles upon entering service facility.
• Answer customer phone calls
• Make sure keys are properly tagged
• Phone customer repair authorizations and document it
• schedule appointments with dispatcher

This is a hands on position requiring:

• Strong multi-tasker
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Strong computer and writing skills
• Bi-Lingual (English and Spanish) would also be a plus.
