The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing problems, disassembles engines, repair or replace parts and reassembles engines. The technician will assemble parts and components based on Ford Motor Company standards.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range for Technicians = Flat Rate Pay $30.00 - $50.00 per hour, paid weekly

• Hours: Monday – Saturday, 7:00am - 5:00pm, rotating Saturdays. Hours and schedule may vary.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Requirements:

• Must submit to a background check and drug test
• Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ford FACT Certifications preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
