RK Service provides commercial and industrial electrical construction. They also offer on-call and planned maintenance electrical service.

What you’ll be working on:
Oversee the activities of a 4-6 man crew ranging in experience from first to several years apprentice.- Assist in training new hire employees on installation of electrical equipment to ensure the equipment is in safe operable condition when energized.
- Ability to read and interpret prints, key notes and scope of work.
- Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor.
- Ability provide site specific repairs to conflicts or obstructions.
- Assist in installation or assembly of trade specific material and equipment in the shop, building, or jobsite.
- Assist with the set-up and operation of trade specific equipment and machinery.
- Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, clients, and managers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Completed Electrician apprenticeship.
- Proficiency with the latest National Electrical Code and local codes.
- Perform inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all applicable requirements, including safety standards and local codes.
- Interpret diagrams, blueprints and other related drawings.
- Inventory and properly track supplies, equipment, tools and machinery.
- Communicate with customers and coworkers effectively to promote efficiency.
- Minimum four years of experience in the commercial and or industrial electrical industry.
- Clean driving record and current license.
- Active State of Colorado Journeyman license.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience reading mechanical and electrical blueprints.

- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected.
- RK Mechanical employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of RK Mechanical Orientation, shop specific orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 10.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
- Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
- Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
- Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
- Work in all types of weather.
- Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
- Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
