We are currently looking for a Service Dispatcher to join our plumbing team! The candidate we are looking for must be an excellent communicator, have a positive attitude, and be self-motivated. Must be flexible, able to multi-task, and have the capacity to work calmly in a fast-paced environment. We offer excellent benefits and competitive wages.

Work Hours: 8 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday; overtime may be occasionally required

Pay Scale: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on experience + Benefits

Position Summary: This position requires being the front-line support for internal and external clients. Handling inbound and outbound phone calls, managing the plumbers' daily schedules from start to finish, and reviewing jobs upon completion for returns needed or quotes needed. As needed scheduling return trips with customers when parts are in. Maintain the on-call schedule for plumbers. Maintain customer database with current information. Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees, and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead times. Assisting the Service Dispatcher when needed. Provide accounting with maintenance contract billing information. Prepare service invoices and timecards for processing. This industry is fast-paced and requires a lot of moving parts, so teamwork and problem-solving are a must!

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced customer service skills
• Ability to answer multi-line phones
• Ability to multi-task
• 5 years related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Intermediate computer skills (proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
• Knowledge of the industry is recommended but not required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Well organized and ability to work independently

Qualifications Desired:

• Working knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, or related industry
• Previous knowledge of dispatching software, preferably Service Titan
• 3+ years of dispatcher experience
