JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Delivery Project Coordinator

EMPLOYER: DHD Windows & Doors, LLC. dba Pella Windows & Doors

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

EFFECTIVE DATE: 7/13/2022

SUMMARY: Initiates, coordinates, and executes administrative and other project support to Sales Manager/team including providing Customer Service to the Company’s Customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answers telephone calls in a professional and timely manner; provides requested information with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Exercises considerable judgement and discretion in handling customer inquiries.
  • Composes, types, formats, and distributes professional correspondence in response to internal and external customers.
  • Reviews order management system for new orders and purchases the orders for assigned sales representatives following company guidelines
  • Schedules and Confirms customer deliveries based on product receipt dates
  • Collects balances due from customers and ensures COD’s are documented for drivers’ to collect
  • Ensures load lists are generated and are complete for the picking team daily
  • Prepares Shipping Manifest and Delivery Tickets for Delivery Team
  • Files and tracks credit from manufacturer for product warranty
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent, three to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage

priorities and workflow.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
