Service Associate - Part Time to service both SJC San Jose International Airport and Great Mall Milpitas.

$18 - $19 / hour

Approx. 10 - 15 hours a week

Nights and Weekends may be required

BASIC JOB FUNCION:

The Service Associate at The Great Mall is a part-time position. Responsibilities include cleanliness and functionality of our equipment (strollers and massage chairs), retrieving and returning strollers to our vending units, and repairs as needed. Interact with both Smarte Carte and mall management. This position will service both SJC San Jose International Airport and Great Mall Milpitas.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Working knowledge of equipment and ability to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain clean equipment at all times.
  • Submit reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Understand work rules and the expectations of the facility and Smarte Carte.
  • Maintain regular contact with District Service Manager.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment is in good repair.
  • Interact with facility management (mall management), to establish and maintain good rapport and excellent working relationships.
  • Other assignments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Equipment repair skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Valid driver's license required

PHYSICIAL REQURIEMENTS

  • Lift 40 lbs. to waist height; Apply a force of approx. 75 - 100 lbs.
  • Bend and stoop, walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Visual acuity/manual dexterity
