We have an opening for a Senior Tax Accountant. This is a full time position with benefits, overtime pay, and bonus opportunities. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual ready to gain knowledge and build client relationships. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you’ll be responsible for preparing the medium to complex tax returns and assisting with tax planning and research. You will have the opportunity to train and assist staff accountants, work closely with our team of CPAs to expand your knowledge, and take on projects that will challenge you and help you grow in the profession.

What you’ll be doing:

• Working directly with business and individual clients regarding their tax returns and tax planning. Preparing corporate, partnership, individual and trust tax return
• Staying current with law changes and requirements
• Becoming knowledgeable about clients’ businesses and industries
• Assisting with supervising and mentoring entry-level staff
• No travel required, but optional CPE available in various locations

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• Prefer licensed CPA or working toward CPA or EA credentials
• 3 to 5 years of recent public accounting experience with an emphasis in tax
• Familiarity with tax and accounting software

Pay: $67,690.00 - $80,787.00 per year
