Be a part of the Quality team at the Houston – Greens Crossing site that applies its expertise and knowledge in finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will drive process initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality Management system, product acceptance, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to provide quality input for the development, procurement, production, and delivery of systems and assemblies
- Manage quality metrics, KPIs, trend analysis, as well as use tools such as Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), preventative and corrective actions, and Continuous Improvement method
- Identify opportunities for defect prevention and proactively creates projects for specific preventative corrective actions
- Develop test procedures, perform evaluation tests, quality audits, data reviews, and other engineering evaluations utilizing Six Sigma and Lean methodology
- Foster relationships with customers, suppliers, engineering, and other departments to assist in resolving design, development, production, and acceptance issues
- Provide technical consultation to management and lead technical project teams
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years related experience

- Strong Microsoft suite, written, and verbal skills
- SAP experience
- Auditor certification
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodology tools
- Greenbelt Certified
