Senior Software Engineer in Test

The Role and the Team

Fidelity Institutional Technology is looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer to join us in the development of innovative technology for financial advisors and their clients using the latest technology stack in a collaborative and engaging environment.

You will play a leading role in the automated testing of web applications used by thousands of Registered Investment Advisors and Correspondents to deliver comprehensive brokerage solutions to their customers, including account management, trading, compliance, market research, and portfolio management.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced experience with automation frameworks and related technologies including Java/J2EE, jUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, Serenity, JavaScript/Angular, Spring, Web Services, REST, HTTP
  • Development experience with knowledge of front end or web services is preferred.
  • Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience using source control and pull requests for collaborative development in code repository tools such as GitHub.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
  • Strong communications and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership to guide, encourage, and motivate your fellow engineers.
  • Ability to learn large software systems end-to-end quickly.
