Essential Functions

• Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies

• Provide mentorship and training for Jr Software Developer team members
• Performance tuning, improvement, and balancing usability and automation of software
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality
• Integrate software with existing systems
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
• Maintain standards compliance
• Must be comfortable sharing solutions to challenging problems while continually looking for ways to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience - We do recognize there are various educational pathways and encourage anyone who believes they are qualified to perform the essential job functions to apply. We review and consider all applications.
• 4+ years of experience working in a software development team
• 4+ years of experience in the design and implementation of modern web applications
• Proficiency in C#/.NET required
• Robust experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and scaling
• Advanced SQL query development
• Extensive experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React
• Comfortable communicating with a distributed team, working collaboratively, and sharing knowledge
• Full lifecycle experience of at least one software development project
• Understanding of automated testing and best practices is a plus
• Familiar with Agile Methodology
• Knowledge of Azure, Dapper, SQL Server, Typescript, GIT, and JQuery is a plus.

This position has a base range of $90K - $115K USD. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the stated range depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic location and level of experience.
