Position Overview
Developers at Infotrax work as part of an agile team to build high-quality solutions that enable our clients to compete successfully in the direct selling marketplace. Infotrax provides reliable, high-performing solutions that give our clients the competitive advantage they need to be successful in today’s fast-paced business environment. Infotrax developers have a combination of technical skill, logical thinking, discipline, and creativity. They design, architect, code, test, deploy and troubleshoot, our software solutions. They work in a team environment that requires a high degree of communication and collaboration with peers and leaders. Senior developers are expected to take an active role in the architecture and design process and to mentor less experienced developers.
What our developers do
- Develop, integrate, and deliver applications and components using a variety of front-end, back-end, database, and web technologies.
- Follow industry best practices to write code that is clear, concise, well-documented, performant, and bug-free.
- Employ test-driven development practices and automated code testing.
- Test and monitor solutions for quality and performance.
- Work as part of a team in an “agile” development environment.
- Bring development expertise to the architecture and design process.
- Guide and mentor less experienced developers and work together with them to maintain the overall quality of the product.
- Complete assignments quickly and efficiently and help other developers on the team.
- Plan and complete work according to the roadmap and sprint schedules.
- Continue to study and learn new technologies and techniques.
Minimum Qualifications & Competencies
- 5+ years in Software Development, preferrably in a SaaS enviornment
- Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS.
- Understanding of and experience with SQL, NoSQL Databases, and Caching engines such as MSSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, and Redis.
- Experience building and utilizing Rest-based API components
- Experience working as part of an “agile” development team
- Experience working with all layers of the application stack to complete coding, UI/UX, database integrations, and deployment activities.
- Experience using GIT for version control in a team environment.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools and techniques
- Understanding of how to utilize Docker and Kubernetes to build highly scalable applications
- Understanding of Microservice development and architecture
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
